Summer Picnicking with Smirnoff Sorbet Light Poptails

When the weather
gets nice and warm I love being outside. Matthew and I will frequently plan
summer picnics as the perfect excuse to get out of the house and enjoy a nice
lunch under a big, beautiful tree. Sometimes we bring Ginger and she’ll run
around making friends with all the little kids. On this one Sunday afternoon
Matthew and I decided to have a grown up date, just the two of us. No puppy
babies were allowed! We picked up some sandwiches and salads; I cut up some
watermelon and brought some cheese and fresh bread. For dessert I made some
yummy grownup popsicles, or poptails, as my Mom likes to say! I juiced some
fresh strawberries and peaches and added a little bit of Smirnoff Sorbet Light.
They were light and refreshing, and the perfect grown up treat for our no puppy babies picnic.

Strawberry Peach
Poptails
Makes 10 popsicles
3 cups strawberry and peach juice
2 ounces SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Raspberry Pomegranate
Juice 1 pint of
strawberries and 2 white peaches. If you don’t have a juicer, use blender and
then pass through a mesh sieve. Stir in Smirnoff Sorbet Light Raspberry
Pomegranate. The Lemon flavor is another great choice! Pour into popsicle mold
and freeze. Make sure to bring a freezer bag with you on your picnic so the
popsicles don’t melt. Enjoy immediately after removing from molds.
Are you a fan of picnicking during
the summer? What are you favorite things to bring to eat or drink?
