favorite beauty and skincare products from 2015 M Loves M

The last week of the year is always one for reflection. I love thinking back on the memories from the previous year, and also making plans and goals for the one ahead. This past year, I’ve tried a lot of different beauty products, so I thought it might be nice to highlight my favorites. Without further ado, here are my favorite products of 2015!

MY FAVORITE PRODUCTS OF 2015

Arcona Triad Pads

Arcona makes some amazing products. I love using their Gentle Solution Treatment at night, and following it up with the Brightening Gommage in the morning.  These Triad Pads though are one of my favorite products to use day or night. I even take when with me when I travel. The pads protect and clarify skin with antimicrobial cranberry, containing vitamins, phyto-nutrients and essential fatty acids. It also neutralize free radicals with vitamin E tocopherols and tocotrienols, as well as nourishes and heals skin with omegas 3, 6 and 9 and rice milk.

Kiehl’s Hyrdro-Plumping Re-Texurizing Serum Concentrate

I apply this Kiehl’s Serum Concentrate either in the morning or at night before moisturizer. I love the consistency and how a little goes a long way. It has a serum-to-liquid technology that intensively hydrates the deepest surface layers of dehydrated skin. It also plumps your skin while smoothing the appearance of fine lines and rough texture and treating dull, tired skin. My skin hasn’t been dry at all these past few months {knock on wood!}, and I think it’s because of this product.

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara

Mascaras can be hit or miss. I feel like I try a lot and feel like Goldilocks saying, “This one is too clumpy. This one is too wet.” It’s been a challenge finding the perfect one but I have to say I’ve consistently reached for this Chubby Lash mascara from Clinique these past 6 months. It goes on easily, helps lift and elongate my lashes, and doesn’t clump them together. If you’re looking for a new mascara to try, I’d highly recommend this one!

R&Co Death Valley

I got a sample of this Death Valley Dry Shampoo during fashion week and let’s just say it was a huge hair saver! Besides the clever name and pretty packaging, it’s a dry shampoo that helps perk up my hair between washes. I think it’s time to get a bigger bottle, though!

Jouer Bronzer

I love the whole Jouer brand, and this bronzer has become one of my top favorites. I wear it every single day, without fail, and I love how it gives my skin a sun-kissed look. Some bronzers are too light, or way too orangey, but this one is just right. It offers a natural-looking and healthy glow!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate

If you’re in LA, treat yourself to a facial at Kate Somerville, and you won’t be sorry! You will leave with the most beautiful, baby soft skin! If you can’t get yourself over this way, though, definitely pick up her ExfoliKate treatment. I promise you’ll see and feel the results instantly! The treatment contains fruit enzymes that clarify skin by removing dead cells and eliminating bacteria. It’s been really helpful for me in fighting acne, and getting rid of those annoying and stubborn blackheads. When you rinse off the product, you’ll have the most smooth and glowing skin!

Stella McCartney Stella Perfume

Oh how I love perfumes! This one from Stella McCartney will always make me think of spring 2015! It’s a feminine and modern scent filled with fresh roses, delicate peony petals, frozen lemon, and watery tones of freesia. If you love feminine florals, this perfume has your name on it, especially if your name is Stella!

Hourglass Grace

This year I found the perfect nude lipstick, and it’s this one from Hourglass! I have worn this peachy beige shade countless times, and I’m already thinking I need to get a refill. The color is incredibly gorgeous! Plus, I love the smooth texture and how hydrating it is.

Dolce&Gabbana Perfect Reveal Lift Foundation

One product I think you should always splurge on is foundation. I can’t tell you what a difference it makes. This Dolce&Gabbana foundation is my absolute favorite, and I’ve tried a bunch. I started using this foundation at the end of last year for this holiday makeup tutorial, but it was this year when I really fell in love with it. It provides excellent coverage while still giving your skin a natural look. I love the consistency and the dewy finish. Plus, you only need half a pump for your full face, so a little goes a long way! I use the Creamy 80 shade.

What products have you tried and loved this year? I’d love to add them to my list for 2016!
