Two of my Favorite Elements for Summer Outfits

a cute casual summer outfit with a striped shirtdress and denim jacket, featuring two of my favorite elements for summer outfits

This dress has two of my favorite elements for summer outfits: blues with whites and stripes. This striped shirtdress is maternity but they also have an identical style for those of you without a bump {hallelujah!}. I’ve been trying to find as many non-maternity pieces to feature, since I know many of you aren’t pregnant right now, but sometimes you just gotta give in!

I love this dress with a denim jacket {my go-to during any season!}, and these strappy wedges that I’ve been wearing non-stop. They’re beyond comfortable with the wedge and I love the triple straps. I added this fun leather backpack because it’s a little too convenient being hands free when you’re out on an adventure! I can’t even remember the last backpack I had, but now I want to wear this one all the time!

I hope you all are having a great week! I feel like such a dork but this week has been like kind of amazing because I discovered the absolute best smoothie recipe. Yes I’m so weird! I don’t know if I’ll do a recipe post on it because it’s not the prettiest smoothie on the block, but I’m telling you it’s the best. I could see someone charging $10 for it at one of those smoothie bars. Ok you’re intrigued, right? Here’s the recipe: almond milk, frozen banana, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, a handful of fresh spinach, a scoop of protein powder, a spoonful of peanut butter, a little bit of flaxseed, and some unsweetened shredded coconut. It is beyond amazing!! Try it the next time you’re craving a smoothie and I promise you won’t be sorry!!
