Three Popular Sheet Masks to Try

Have any of you tried sheet masks? I heard about them for awhile but didn’t really understand what they were until I got some as a gift from my best friend. They’re face-shaped pieces of fabric that are soaked in nutrition-packed serums. They’re individually packaged and meant to be used once, although I have a trick to make them last longer that I’m sharing with you below. Because the masks are individually packed, though, they’re incredibly easy and convenient to use, especially when traveling. Today I’m sharing 3 Sheet Masks to Try, from some famed favorites!

3 Sheet Masks to Try

SK-II Facial Treatment Mask

SK-II is kind of the leader in Asian Beauty. This mask was one I was super excited to test out, especially after trying their super popular Facial Treatment Essence.  The mask is soaked with Pitera’s combination of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and organic acids. I’m looking forward to using this mask the next time I travel since it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and amazing. I totally understand the hype for this mask because every time I use it my face GLOWS! Totally worth the money! {and seriously read the other reviews!}. P.S. It’s currently being price matched so you can get it cheaper than usual!

Lancome Génifique Youth Activating Second Skin Mask

If you’re a fan of Lancome, and their Génifique Youth Activating Serum in particular, you have to try this mask. Each facial sheet contains half a bottle of their fan-favorite serum so it’s really geared at giving you smoother, more radiant skin. I noticed when using this mask that my pores shrunk and my skin instantly felt smoother and hydrated. This mask is great if you have sensitive skin, too!

Erno Laszlo Sensitive Hydrogel Mask

This mask is full of the good stuff- Vitamin E, seaweed extract, argan oil, grapefruit extract, and other hydrating oils. I love how it fits on my face, and I feel like my skin always looks so plump and healthy after I use it. It’s super soothing so I love to use it after facials.

three popular sheet masks to try

These are three favorites in the beauty industry and I can totally see why. I think the SK-II one is definitely my favorite, but I love how they all made my skin feel. Since they’re more expensive, you can’t use them every day, but they’re perfect when you’re needing some extra hydration. Like during the winter, or after a long flight. Bonus points that you can just leave the remaining serum on and go- no need to wash your face afterward! Sheet masks are so luxurious that they’re perfect to incorporate into an at-home spa night, too! Don’t we all need one of those? Even though these masks range from $14.50-16 each, there are ways to make them last longer.

My favorite tip to make your single mask last longer: Fold up the side you used, place it back in the pouch, then in a ziplock, and store in the fridge for one more use. And sometimes you can even get away with 3 uses in total. If for some reason you don’t want to reuse the mask, still make sure that you save the serum in the packet. It’s loaded with good nutrients so you can apply any remaining amount the following morning after you cleanse and dry your face.

I promise, if you try any of these masks, you’ll love them. I totally understand why people love sheet masks so much. Despite the price tag, they’re a special treat when you need some me time!
