10 Spring Dresses to Buy Now - M Loves M @marmar

I know some of you on the East Coast might be looking at this outfit and thinking, “Whaat?!” but to be fair it was in the 80s last week in Southern California. I wasn’t all that happy about it because personally I love that cool crisp weather, but I took advantage of being able to bring out my new spring dress that I’ve been soo excited about! There are so many things to love about this dress: the blue and white stripes, the twirly full skirt, the one shoulder detail, the BOW! It’s absolutely perfect for spring, summer, a bridal shower, birthday party, a cruise, a tropical vacay, I could go on! These are all things that ran through my head when I was buying it! If any of you are looking ahead a bit, or live somewhere warm like me, I’m rounding up 10 spring dresses to buy now!

This pair of scalloped heels has been one of my favorite pairs since last summer {dang, actually since I was pregnant!} and it’s on a crazy sale right now if you’re interested. I love that the black sandal style is incredibly versatile, but the scalloped detail makes it more unique and feminine. Plus the heel height is so easy to walk in!

This dress is definitely making me look forward to our warm weather Hawaiian vacay next month! I can hardly believe it’s coming up so fast but I’m really looking forward to it. This will be a different vacation for sure {the last time was on our babymoon}, but I can’t wait to explore the island with our little guy. I know he’s going to love it! This dress will definitely be coming with, too. It was meant for mai tais on the sand, don’t you think?? And yes, that was another one of my excuses to buy it!

(+ an extra one for good measure!)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Matthew and I made some yummy things at home that are sparking some recipe post ideas! We made this black pepper shrimp dish with coconut cauliflower rice and I got countless requests for the recipe so I think I need to get that up asap. It was so good and really healthy too!

Have a great Monday everyone and thanks for stopping by!

  • It’s never too early to start your spring wardrobe, all the various events seem to come out of nowhere so fast! I love your suggestions, I am all about print and texture right now and you have a whole host of options right up my early. Enjoy the nice weather out there!

    • so glad you liked this post Emily!! It feels like spring is here already! It was in the 80s on Monday!

    • aren’t they all so cute?! I have a huge spring dress wishlist going on!

  • Lovely dress. 🙂 It’s still cold here in SE England but I’ve seen some daisies in the park and one lot of daffodils! (It’s early for daffodils, they normally come out in Feb/March). I’m looking forward to spring.

Oh, you look so enchanting here!! I’m also so excited about the Spring and all of the beautiful dresses such as yours.
I also think that baby blue clothes and accessories like your bag will be a big hit!
Lucky you to soon take off to Hawaii, I’d love to visit someday too. 🙂

    • I can’t wait for our trip! It’s going to be so fun, although I’m guessing not totally relaxing with Augustine 😉

  • Paige Cassandra Flamm

I love the color of that dress on you! It’s so beautiful!

    • thank you Paige! It feels like the perfect spring dress!

I know! It’s warm enough in the afternoons on our end as well to get away with wearing no layers let alone a dress. But in other parts of the country they are experiencing a cold front, so crazy! Love this dress! The stripes are perfect and classic and the one shoulder screams sexy. Looking forward to Spring too.

You’re gorgeous! This dress is so pretty on you! I can’t belive you’re going to Hawaii next month – how exciting!!

    • I can’t wait!! Although I’m a little nervous about traveling with Augustine. It will be our first time on a plane with him!

That’s understandable! I still haven’t gotten up the courage to fly with my 3 year old haha! However friends always tell me it ends up being much better than you think it will be. Just bring lots to distract him. Hit up the Target dollar spot and get some fun new things, toys, etc (even post it notes he can pull off and stick on the seat) and he’ll be fine!

  • Louis Dupond

Spring is coming, yeah yeah yeah … colored dress and sandals will be back 😉

I’m a flats girl through and through, but I HAD to snag those heels! Only $28? Yes, please!

    • right?! They are so so good!! And you’ll love them because the height is totally doable!
