When was the last time I’ve worn a pants outfit? And I’m not including jeans! It’s been awhile right?? There’s no denying that I’m a dress girl – always have always will be, but lately, I’ve been feeling inspired by paperbag pants. This is a trend that goes in and out of style, but I’ve always been a fan! In fact, I’m sure we could dig into some old posts on the blog and see me in them. Even though the pants have a little more volume, they’re flattering with the waist tie. It’s amazing what a difference this pair of pants makes though. Imagine if I was wearing jeans instead. The look would still be cute but I think it’s little more stylish and on-trend with this pair. These would be a small change that would make a big impact! What do you think about them?

I hope you liked this blue pants look for spring! I think this would be a cute outfit to wear to the office and I love how the pieces would look separately as well. I’d pair this blouse with a skirt and even a pair of white denim! And if it’s still a little chilly where you are, you could always pair the pants with a turtleneck. That be so pretty!

Hope you all are having a great week so far! I’ve been trying to convince myself to go to bed at 10pm every night this week. I have all the best intentions but then it doesn’t happen. It’s currently 11:15 and I’m thinking maybe I can hustle for 11:30pm. It’s hard because I feel like the nights are when I’m the most productive, but then I’m just too exhausted in the mornings to function properly. Whenever I can get into bed early, I’m always in a better place the next day. I’ll be taking some baby steps with this one!

Did I tell you about our weekend? We did a lot of house stuff over the weekend which was really satisfying! Matthew’s brother came up from San Diego and helped us put a rug down in our bedroom, and also hang the market lights in our backyard, a project we’ve been trying to do since fall. It’s going to be so fun to eat dinner outside in the spring and summer months with the lights glowing above. We’ve been in our house for almost 7 months and we’ve already done so much that has helped make this new home our own. I can’t wait to share some photos with you all soon because I’m so happy with how it’s turning out. I think a home update is definitely in order!

Have a great day everyone!
