T3 Cura Luxe Hair Dryer

Since becoming a mom, finding the time to style my hair has become harder and harder. I’m really looking forward to giving this new blowdryer a try as it promises to dry hair quickly and quietly. Which will be a huge help during nap time! I’m also super interested in the volume booster feature. Who doesn’t want a little extra oomph?

ARCONA Four O’Clock Flower Gentle Cleansing Cream

This face wash sounds like a dream come true and I can’t wait to incorporate it into my routine! I try to avoid face washes that strip the skin and cause irritation. Luckily, this gentle cleansing cream sounds so soothing. With ingredients like green tea and chamomile extract that calm redness, fight dryness, purify and remove makeup, this cleansing cream could cover all my bases.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner

I’m always looking for new products that can help brighten my skin and this toner is next on my list. The formula has 2% glycolic acid and grapefruit extract which work together to exfoliate skin and reduce discoloration from old acne scars. Plus it doesn’t contain any alcohol which is something I always look to avoid! I like using toner as an extra chance to remove any makeup that may have been left behind during cleansing, so I suspect I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this one.

NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device

Next up is more of a device than a product. This handheld facial toning device is designed to improve facial contour, skin tone, and reduction of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Um, consider me sold! I’m super intrigued by this device and think it will be a fun new step in my nightly skincare routine. I’d love to hear in the comments if any of you have tried skincare devices like this before!

Lancôme Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum

I love using serums before moisturizing for a little boost of skin friendly ingredients and this serum seems to do it all. This anti-aging serum (it’s never too early to get started!) works to improve skin tone, skin texture, firmness, and radiance. As a bonus, this patented formula, which contains Bifidus extract, is supposed to help strengthen and protect skin’s moisture barrier. Lancôme has been working on this formula for over 14 years! So I’m pretty optimistic I’ll see some results. Fingers crossed!

As always, if you’ve used any of these products I’d love to know what you think of them!

April Recap

Shishedo Essential Energy Moisturizing Cream

I’ve really loved using this moisturizer. I’ve been using it in the mornings and at night and I feel like it goes on really well. It has the perfect texture-not too thick and not too sheer. I love how it feels on my skin and I thought it made my skin look a lot more healthy.

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask in Rose Clay

This rose clay mask has been a favorite! I’ve been using this once or twice a week for the past month and I love how you only need to leave it on for 10 minutes. I’m all about a quick and easy mask, especially one that gives you results. This one exfoliates gently and leaves my skin feeling super smooth and clear!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

Alright, I’m going to have to be honest. I don’t know if this one was worth it. I loved the Marine Day Cream {loved loved loved and noticed serious results} but this cleansing balm just didn’t really get the job done. I felt like I still would need to do a double cleanse after with another product and it didn’t get my eye makeup off at all. It smells great and contains essential oils, but I just wasn’t a fan of it’s performance. I’ve used other cleansing balms, like this one, that I’ve loved a lot more! And that one is a much better deal!

Kate Sommerville Tightening Gel

Such an interesting product! Have you ever done cryogenic therapy? It’s when you introduce your body to very cold temperatures as a way to cure it from certain illnesses, or ease muscle pains. A lot of athletes really love it. This product is a cold gel that makes your skin tighter and it helps with fine lines. This was a product I noticed an immediate difference with after I used it. I felt like my skin was crazy smooth and tight. I had done the mask that night too. I continued to use this throughout the month, but more off and on because I didn’t feel like I really needed it on a daily basis. I did like the cold sensation when you applied it, so it was very refreshing as well!

Origins Precipitation Continuous Moisture Recovery for Body

I was desperately needing a new moisturizer because my skin has been a little more dry than normal. I got this one from Origins because I’m a huge fan of all their products {obviously because I feature them almost monthly}. This lotion is a great consistency without leaving my skin feeling greasy. I loved that I didn’t need to reapply all throughout the day either. I would apply it at night after my shower and then not need more until the next night, if that! It’s definitely a great lotion if you have dry skin!

Also, I wanted to give you an update on that Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I’m so glad I continued using it because I liked it a lot better the second month. I know I said that the product was really wet and slippery feeling but I just would pump a little bit less and use any remainder on my neck. I also started doubling it up with this Kiehl’s serum that I applied right before, so maybe that helped give it something to hold onto.

If you love beauty like I do, check out some of the other products and tips I’ve loved in the past. Let me know if there are any products you’ve been loving lately too! Anything you’re curious about trying out?
