I am all about drop-waist dresses! They are my absolute favorite to wear {exhibit a and b}. This dress from Lovers + Friends is such great quality and I’ve already worn it multiple times since getting it. The scarf print is abstract and unique, making it a major statement piece. I paired it with these brown sandals with a metallic heel {love love love!} and a messy side braid. LA has been having a little bit of a heat wave so getting the hair off my neck has been a must. It’s hardly ever this warm near the beach but this week it was in the 80s! Totally wanted to have a ditch day!

We have one more weekend so I’m hoping we can get to the beach if it’s still warm! Even though Dallas was fun last weekend it was hard to come back on Sunday night and then have a week of work. I felt like I didn’t have a real weekend so I’m going to soak this one up!
