stylish sneaker outfit for back to school, M Loves M
It’s hard to believe that today is the first day of August! I guess we need to start thinking about fall, don’t we? It’s one of my favorite times of year though so I’ll admit I’m a little excited. Fresh, cool air, the changing colors of leaves, the  excitement in the air..it’s all pretty magical. Going back to school was something I greatly anticipated. There were the new pencils, new backpack, new shoes! Yes, the new shoes were my favorite thing to shop for! Can you blame me?! I was so excited when DSW asked me to participate in their DSW Shoe Hookup- Back to Class program because I’ve been shopping with them forever. Over the next three weeks I’m going to be sharing three different Back to Class outfits with you, wearing three different pairs of shoes. For the first look I chose to style a pair of running shoes, showing how you can go from gym to class {or visa versa} and still look stylish as can be. The pink detailing stands out so much on these black Nikes that they’d totally motivate me to get my bootie on the treadmill. I paired them with some fun heather grey sweats that would look good in training or in studying. They’re so comfy you can basically live in them.  Whenever I don’t have time to touch up my makeup, sunglasses are a Godsend. They cover the tired studying eyes and the mascara-free lashes. It’s the perfect accessory to top off the outfit for a sporty chic look!

When looking for some new shoes, DSW has always been one of my go-tos. They have seriously everything from sneakers to flats to wedges to boots to sandals to heels. My best friend Lizzie and I would go to DSW on Friday nights in high school and try on so many pairs of shoes. It was major entertainment. Now I usually look and buy online thanks to their free shipping. I’ve also been a member of their DSW Rewards Program since the beginning which is such a great perk. Every time you buy some new shoesies you get points that lead to a gift certificate for another purchase. And you get a little birthday present which I just recently took advantage of while drinking my Starbucks bday drink {hooray for companies that celebrate birthdays!} Stay tuned for a fun DSW giveaway next week too! It’s going to be fun!
