I have become such a beauty junkie. {Matthew calls it hoarding!} I am always reading about new products and testing them out so I’d love to start including my thoughts here on the blog. Originally, I was just going to do a post about the products and then I figured it might be helpful to add a video as well! So here are some of my favorite products from the past month:

GLOSSIER PRIMING MOISTURIZER
This priming moisturizer is amazing! It goes on so easily and it’s buildable so you can add more depending on how your skin is feeling.  It doesn’t have an SPF which concerned me at first but I’ve been adding an additional SPF on top, or I’ll use my bareMinerals Complexion Rescue.

bareMINERALS COMPLEXION RESCUE
This has been a new favorite! I’m a fan of all bareMinerals products {love how they try to keep things as natural as possible}, and this gel cream is a mix between a CC cream, a BB cream and a tinted moisturizer. You can read more about it in this post right over here!

GARNIER ULTRA LIFT MIRACLE SLEEPING CREAM
Face creams for the win! I love how affordable this one is from Garnier. It’s really hydrating like a mask but still feels light, like a cream.

KATE SOMERVILLE D-SCAR SERUM
I’ve been so excited to check this product out! Kate Somerville has a cult following and this serum in particular has been talked about nonstop! My skin scars very easily and I’m working on getting rid of some not-so-fun acne scars, so I was really looking forward to checking this one out. I’ve only been testing this serum for about 2 weeks but so far I’ve definitely noticed a decreased pigmentation in a few of my scars. I’m excited to see how some others clear up over the next month or so. I’ll keep you posted!

JOHN FRIEDA LUXURIOUS VOLUME MOUSSE
Mousse is a must after I shower. I’ve been using this one from John Frieda in combination with the blow dry lotion below for a little extra volume.

JOHN FRIEDA LUXURIOUS VOLUME ROOT BOOSTER BLOW DRY LOTION

The application of this blow dry lotion is a little different than what I’m used to but it totally makes sense. You spritz the product on the crown of your head and on the under-section. You know, the areas where you need a little extra lift! I don’t know if it’s the mousse or the blow dry lotion but one of these products {or the combination of both!} is making my hair extra voluminous!

I have to apologize for the weird focus noises on my camera! I’m still learning how to shoot videos by myself. I’m such a newbie!
