Does anyone know how to slow time down? If so, please share your secret! I am obviously so behind when I realized mid-April that I never did a March recap {yikes!}. It’s fun to be able to reflect on the previous month, especially since they seem to fly by, so this post include recaps from the past two months! March was a lot of fun, mainly because of my trip to Austin! It was so fun to go for SxSW and I loved that Matthew was there for work too. It made the visit even more fun! Here are some of my March highlights:
- Ginger picked my outfit with this dog-print dress! It’s pretty cute!
- Matthew and I celebrated 7 years dating…oh my goodness!
- I had a fun afternoon shooting in Beverly Hills. This outfit is one of my favorites from the past few months. It’s probably all because of the hair!
- Attended a brunch with Target and Emily Henderson and Camila Alves! So fun to meet her after being such a fan!
- Headed to Austin for SxSW and couldn’t resist a photo with this mural!
- Tried Mexican Vanilla ice cream for the first time {from Amy’s Ice Creams}. It was beyond delicious!
- Sushi date with Matthew! We loved Uchi in Austin. Camila Alves recommended it to me at the Target brunch so I could just imagine her and Matthew McConaughey there.
- Spent the afternoon with friends and took a photo of my lace sneakers with the pretty jacaranda tree leaves!
- My tip for making a chipped manicure look better..add glitter nail polish to the tips!
and now for April!
April was a busy month with a few fun trips! I was in Dallas for over a week so I felt like I lived there more than I lived in LA. That’s a little big of an exaggeration but you know what I mean. A trip longer than 4 or 5 days starts to get comfortable and you settle in. Here are some of my April highlights:
- Shared a post on our Easter table setting. This was actually posted the last day of March but basically April since that’s when Easter was!
- Hung out in Venice one afternoon. Funny enough, it started raining a few hours later!
- Celebrated Easter with my funny bunny honey!
- Headed to Palm Springs for Coachella. I haven’t been to Palm Springs in so long and I had such a fun time. I love the mod/retro feel!
- Found the cutest little restaurant in Palm Springs called Birba! They had delicious wood-fired pizzas and I loved the burrata and eggplant appetizer! Also, I’d highly recommend their salted chocolate caramel tart!
- I love taking spring walks after dinner with Matthew and Ginger! It’s so nice that it’s lighter later.
- Spent the weekend in Dallas with Mary Kay! We went to the ACM Awards and I got some big hair!
- Explored Dallas for a week! I was there for a blogger conference after the ACM weekend so it didn’t make sense to go home for less than 48 hours. I loved getting to check out a new city and eat lots of TexMex!
- Our Home Tour was featured on The Glitter Guide! Our house is still a work in progress but it was so nice to finally share what we’ve been working on this past month!
Did the past few months go by quickly for you too? I have a feeling May is going to be just the same. It’s practically summertime!
