When in doubt, wear white. Or black. Or both! The other weekend Matthew and I went to meet some friends for brunch downtown. I wanted to wear something comfortable but still polished. I wore this black and white printed top {last seen here with wide leg jeans} and my go-to pair of white jeans. Since I wasn’t sure what the parking situation would be like {downtown can get tricky!}, I wore these comfy black wedge sandals. This would be a great work to happy hour outfit too, don’t you think?

Thank you everyone for your sweet congrats yesterday. It’s so hard to believe Matthew and I have been married for three years. We celebrated last night with dinner at home- I made grilled cheese! It sounds silly but that was what we ordered when we got to our hotel room after the wedding. We didn’t eat more than a few bites during the day because of how busy it was, so that room service grilled cheese was the best darn one we’d ever had! Sometimes, there’s nothing better!
