november highlights

November is always one of my favorite months. I know it’s probably because it ends with Thanksgiving, which is one of the best holidays. There’s also this feeling of fall that fills LA unlike any other month. September and October are usually still too warm. This week has been perfectly rainy and I’ve loved it! There’s something magical about hearing the rain at night and waking up to a clean, sparkly city. California is in a major drought so the rain is even more welcome! Here are some of my highlights from the eleventh {gasp!} month of 2014:

• Hanging with my G girl! We went to the park, played together a lot, and she has been such a sweetie to Matthew who has been recovering from his shoulder surgery!
• The shoot I did with Who What Wear is up on their site! Check it out!
• Went to NYC for 2 short days! It was so fun being in the city and I can’t wait to share more about the project I worked on with GUESS!
• Styled our guest bedroom with help from Lulu & Georgia and Parachute Home! See the finished room here.
• Shot a cute project with Matthew that I’ll be sharing soon!! It included this adorable bike and balloon!
• Right before Matthew’s shoulder surgery I made him a fancy brunch, for just the two of us. He was so wonderful to spend the days before his surgery helping me with some of my blog projects since he knew he wouldn’t be able to afterwards.
• Thanksgiving!! I made apple pie and my mom made a yummy pumpkin one! It was so fun to celebrate with my family and also celebrate my Dad’s bday the following day!
• Matthew and I tried a new bakery in Venice called Gjusta! 
• Lots of days and nights with this cutie pie! He took time off work to recover from his surgery so we’ve had a lot more time together. I’ve come home on my lunch break to make us food and just hang out. At night we’ve been getting into the show Luther, eating oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and staying up way too late. But if I’m going to be up late, I’m glad it’s with him!
