Add old fashioned oats to a bowl with almond milk and water. Stir in chia seeds and cinnamon.Let sit for 2 minutes. Chia seeds should soak up the majority of the liquids.
Stir and then microwave for 1 ½ minutes (note: microwave temperatures might vary). Meanwhile, dice up the apple and add to oatmeal once it’s done.
Microwave for another 30 seconds and then remove. Stir in peanut butter, allowing it to get melty, and sprinkle with additional cinnamon if you're cinnamon-obsessed like I am!
Also, feel free to add any additional toppings, like coconut flakes, hemp seeds, almond slices, granola, dried fruit, etc. This is the base and how I usually enjoy it but you can always play around with adding different things on top!
