Add the instant coffee powder, hot water, and sugar to a bowl.
Use a hand whisk or an electric mixer to whip the mixture until it's light and fluffy. It should take about 1-2 minutes. You'll notice the color will change from a dark brown to a caramel brown.
The cream will be strong when it's whipped but remember you'll be mixing it with milk. To serve, spoon about half the mixutre over a cup of almond/cashew milk with ice in it and stir. This is better enjoyed right after mixing.
You can add additional sugar or cinnamon at this stage, too, if you like!
I split the cream up between two short glasses, but if you want one extra tall glass you could consider this one serving.
