Every now and then you see a dress that’s just so perfect and pretty you have to have it. The only thing holding you back? The price tag! For the most part, I’m a pretty frugal shopper, and love finding the under $100 deals, under $50 if I’m lucky! But I have a weakness for two things: florals and anything from Kate Spade. As soon as I saw this gorgeous rose print, I knew it was a dress worth splurging for. So I told myself, this is a dress that will be perfect for Easter, my big 30th birthday in June, a summer wedding we’re attending, and pretty much every baby and bridal shower I’m invited too. This dress is going to work for itself, making the CPW {cost per wear} super low. Or as low as I can get it!

A dress worth splurging for should definitely fit some specific criteria, though. I always ask myself these 5 questions:
1. Can you see yourself wearing it on at least 3 occasions?
2. Is the style versatile enough to be worn years from now?
3. Is it good quality?
4. Is this item unique enough to not be duplicated everywhere?
5. If I walk away, will I still be thinking about this item later? (Usually, I give myself a few days)
If it fits the criteria, and I think I can work it into my budget, I feel much better about making the item mine. Do you go through a thought process when you’re splurging on an item?
