These are our favorite wedding gifts! - M Loves M @marmar

I just can’t believe Matthew and I have been married for eight years! To say time flew by is an understatement. Matthew is such an amazing husband and father and I feel so lucky to be married to him. I was reflecting on our wedding the other day and realized there were still so many wedding gifts that we use all these years later! I wanted to share the gifts that we still get a ton of use out of and would go back and register for again! Plus, I’m also sharing the items I WISH we had register for!

The Wedding Gifts We Still Use 8 Years Later

Toaster

It’s such a simple item, but something we use almost every day! A quality toaster is so worth registering for!

Vitamix Blender

Normally wouldn’t have splurged on this expensive of a blender, but I’m so glad we registered for it. It’s seriously the best blender on the market and we use it multiple time a day to make smoothies, nut milk, and soups.

White Dinnerware Set

A set of white plates is an essential for everyday use. I love how affordable these ones are, that way you don’t have to be too precious with them.

Knife Set

We cook so much that we knew we needed a really good set of knives. Quality knives seriously make all the difference!

Cast Iron Skillet

This cast-iron skillet is such an essential for any household and can be used for so many recipes.

Dutch Oven

I’ve used our Dutch oven hundreds of times now! It’s so helpful for easy weeknight meals and couldn’t be easier to clean. It’s one of those pieces you’ll have forever!

Serving Bowl

This classic serving bowl is perfect for hosting dinner parties! You’ll definitely appreciate having a large bowl to serve everyone.

Vase

For when the hubby brings home flowers of course! hint hint! But actually having a

Stand Mixer

A classic stand mixer is my bff when it comes to baking, especially for mixing up some cookie dough!

Bar Tool Set

Silver bar set tools are a necessity for entertaining and can double as chic decor on your bar cart!

Belgian Flax Linen Sheet Set

Linen sheets go with any duvet or bedspread, are super soft, and wash well. A must for a new home or just a nice upgrade.

Organic Cotton Bath Towel

It’s your wedding, you deserve super plush towels! Organic cotton bath towels are definitely an upgrade and a great way to spruce up any bathroom.

Cast Iron Reversible Griddle

The flat side of this grill is great for pancakes while the ridged side is perfect for veggie burgers. We use ours a lot on the weekends to make Augustine his favorite pancakes.

Serving Tray

A serving tray is a must for entertaining. This one from Target goes with any aesthetic and is begging for a nice cheese board!

Wine Glasses

Elegant wine glasses that are a must for entertaining! Or for a random Tuesday night lol!

Champagne Glasses

For all the celebrating you’ll be doing… obviously!

Items I Didn’t Register For, but Wish that I Had

InstantPot

I got our InstantPot last year for my birthday but I’ve used it more often than I can count. I love that it has a slow cooker, pressure cooker, sautee feature, and you can even make yogurt! I have loved using it to make quick dinners, and it also makes the most perfect hard-boiled eggs that peel so easily!

Ice Cream Maker

An ice cream maker is always fun during the summer months to whip up a healthier version of ice cream at home. I got mine for my birthday this year and I’ve loved making pints to keep on hand in the freezer. It’s actually a little dangerous!

Roomba Vacuum

If you have a dog who sheds, you will so appreciate it when your Roomba roams around the house to pick up any leftover dog hair or dust. It’s a must with little ones, too! We got ours from my parents for our first anniversary and it’s been used bi-weekly!

Air Fry Smart Oven

Another kitchen staple that seems boring but is used so often! It’s not a necessity by any means but it comes in handy way more often than you’d think. I think a small oven is perfect for reheating that one piece of pizza, making just a couple of cookies, or roasting a smaller veggie. It’s nice to not have to turn the big oven on and heat the whole house up. We’ve been using one I had in my dorm room and it still works, but it might be time for an upgrade.

Grill

Matthew is the grill master in our house! This grill is little bit on the pricey side, but if you or your husband love to grill and I would recommend this one! Plus, it’s a great group gift idea!

Nespresso

We can’t live without our Nespresso and use it daily! Quick, delicious coffee, need I say more!

Pitcher

I love a good pitcher for making entertaining easier. I also will fill mine with iced tea and keep it in the fridge.

Jewelry Box

Of course, you need a jewelry box to stash your shiny new rings in! I think this would be a fun thing to register for!

 Milo Alpaca Throw

Get cozy for your next at home date night! This is a splurge item you probably wouldn’t buy normally, so why not register for it?!

Beach Cruiser Bike

This cruiser bike is perfect for a stroll around the neighborhood and a great excuse to get some exercise. Register for two for a fun couple activity!

Wood Burning Fire Pit

Again, the perfect addition for a cozy date night at home. Don’t forget the marshmallows!
