Happy Monday! I feel like there’s been a lot going on around here lately and I haven’t done the best job in updating you. So today we’re playing a little catch up!

WHAT I’M WEARING

top from LOFT . jeans from MADEWELL . flats from SARAH FLINT . bag from BRAHMIN . hat from BRIXTON

About this outfit: this sweater tank is the perfect sage color and I love that it has a slightly thicker fabric while still being sleeveless. It’s a great piece for spring/summer when you don’t want to just wear a t-shirt. I got these jeans from Madewell over the holidays after having my eye on them all fall! Well, the store associate seemed adamant about me sizing down from my regular size. He said they would stretch out but ouch they have not. The holiday eating didn’t help and I just held onto them thinking they could work. After wearing them for these photos I think I’ll have to buy my actual size. I’m not sure what I was thinking! Shaking my head at myself…

Shoe-wise, I adore these Natalie flats from Sarah Flint. I have them in black and blue suede so you can say I’m a little obsessed. They’re amazing quality and a pointy flat is just so iconic. It will always be in style I think! Brahmin always makes such classic bags and I really love this one. The style makes me wish I was traveling to Italy so I can’t wait to carry it around with all my white summer dresses. This straw hat is one you have seen probably no short of 50 times on this blog. I’ve been wearing it every spring and summer since 2014/2015? It’s been a loooong time and for the price it’s really held up. If you get one thing this summer, let it be this hat! I promise you it will update any outfit and make it that much cuter – plus you’ll have some sun protection!

Life-wise, I mentioned things have been busy. I feel like we’re still adjusting to our new home 6 months later! My little ones are keeping me quite busy from Augustine learning to read and Corinna learning to use the potty. It’s been an exciting time although there have been lots of emotions, and a few accidents too. Some other big news is that my mother-in-law and sister-in-law moved 20 minutes away! It has been the absolute best and we feel so blessed to have family close by. Between their move, and friends and family coming into town, I feel like we’ve had quite the packed schedule. It’s the best kind of busy though so I wouldn’t have it any other way. Last week we celebrated my birthday, went to the rodeo (our first time), and I started growing microgreens. This week I have a new sourdough bread recipe I’m trying out, I’m working on Augustine’s fall homeschool curriculum, and I’m going to fill up the last few spots in my garden bed. The weather is supposed to be in the 90s so I’ll probably be wearing a version of this outfit but with shorts! I just got this pair and they’re such a good style!

I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!
