White wine is the perfect spring and summer drink! - M Loves M @marmar

I’ve been loooving this warm weather down here in SoCal, it’s been so nice! With the lasting light and warm evenings, it really feels like spring is here and summer is around the corner! This warmer weather definitely makes me want to start eating lighter meals {check out my recent post about meal planning and some of my favorite recipes!} and in turn, lighter wines. There really is nothing better than a nice crisp glass of wine on a warm spring day or a summer evening, so I put together a list of four wines for spring and summer hat I think you’ll love too!

4 Wines For Spring and Summer

The right wine can really be the perfect drink for spring and summer – it’s light, refreshing, and relaxing. I know that there are so many wines out there it can be hard to pick one. So here is my list of wines that aren’t too expensive, delicious, and guaranteed spring and summer ready!

Captûre 2019 Rosé of Sangiovese, Sonoma County

Suggested Retail Price: $30

Pairing suggestions: This is a very delicate rosé with bright strawberry, cherry and rose petal notes. It’s super versatile, but try it with pasta dishes with fresh vegetables or a cheese plate. Also, this bottle is especially beautiful, isn’t it?

Galerie 2018 Naissance Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley

Suggested Retail Price: $30

Pairing suggestions: Our winemaker loves to pair Sauvignon Blanc with a warm kale salad with roasted eggplant, pine nuts and goat cheese.

Gran Moraine 2017 Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

Suggested Retail Price: $45

Pairing suggestions: This wine is elegant and fresh and so food-friendly! I love it with salmon with fresh green peas or any other type of fish dish.

WillaKenzie Estate 2016 Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

Suggested Retail Price: $30

Pairing suggestions: This Pinot Noir has more weight and roundness than the Gran Moraine. It can stand up to heartier dishes that incorporate mushrooms, sweet potatoes or root vegetables. I love this Pinot!!
