I’ve been rocking some casual looks so far this summer {see overalls, coffee at Alfred’s and my latest blouse outfit posts} but I’m so happy to get dressed up! I got this top, jeans and heels all from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and love them. They all called for a much-needed summer date night with Matthew. I feel like those nights are few and far between right now. I’m definitely looking forward to getting settled in our new home and starting some new traditions!

My summer date night look usually always includes something black. I don’t wear black that often but it always feels more appropriate at nighttime, and especially for a date night. These suede heels of mine are so comfortable with the height and I love the feminine detailing of the scalloped straps!
Isn’t it hard to believe today is the first day of August?! I’m definitely in shock over here. Summer has been speeding by and in a month Augustine will be 1 year old! Fastest year of my life, that’s for sure!
With our move this week I’m going to do my best to post as often as I can, but please forgive me if I miss a day (like I did yesterday). I have so many things I want to share with you but it seems like the only time we can really get to packing is after we put Augustine down to sleep. Have I said how ready I am to get in and get settled?! VERY!
