This lace look was an easy choice for dinner in Big Sur last weekend. It felt casual enough after days of hiking and pooling, but also a little dressed up at the same time. This lace dress is so pretty {and almost sold out! go go go!}. The material is thick and so well made. It reminds me of Italy for some reason. Wouldn’t it be the perfect outfit for exploring Rome on a summer day? Or eating al fresco by the Pantheon? {I clearly have Rome on the brain!} One thing I forgot to bring to Big Sur was a belt. Luckily, the advantage to going on vacation with your mom is that she thinks of these things! We might not be able to share shoe; our feet are on opposite sides of the sizing spectrum, but at least we can share everything else!

Oh boy! This was such a great weekend. The perfect way to kick off June, my favorite month. Saturday I cleaned and organized. I finally unpacked my office boxes and got that room a little more together. I’ll share some of the progress later this week hopefully. I made dinner for Matthew and we had a dance party in my clean office {yay for being able to see the floor!}. Sunday I baked a pie for my mom’s birthday! First time and I have to say it was easy as pie! I’m sharing the recipe tomorrow so you can judge for yourself. It was a huge hit from the birthday girl! I hope you all had a great weekend too!
