Matthew has been dying to get me to see this movie and we finally saw it last night. If you haven’t seen Tarsem’s The Fall you absolutely must. It came out a couple years ago I think but I loved it. Here’s the plot: In an infirmary in the 1920s an injured stuntman becomes friends with a little girl with a broken arm, and tells her an epic story about 5 heroes in search of revenge. There’s this fantastical storytelling element {think Princess Bride} and the scenery is gorgeous {it was shot in 18 different countries!} I’ll warn you that it is a little sad at the end but it’s a story that definitely stays with you.
