The other week Ruche came out with a feature called Dazzling Decades. I’ve always wanted to style a shoot inspired by the decades so this was especially fun for me. I learned a lot more about American fashion, particularly from the 30s and 40s. It seems like those decades don’t get as much attention since they’re sandwiched between the 20s and the 50s, but it was still twenty years of great fashion. I’m most drawn to fashion from the 50s, although after shooting this I can see how I’m inspired by other decades as well. There’s just something that I love about the timeless, feminine style, and of course all the dresses!
