I’m lucky to work in an office that doesn’t have a dress code. I guess you could call it Friday Casual that lasts all week long. It’s kind of nice to not have the pressure to dress professionally every day, although I always try to look polished and appropriate. When I worked for a more conservative company I had my fair share of work dresses. I always tried to find the balance between dressing professionally, but also showing my personality and love of fashion. I still wanted to dress like myself. One way I liked to do that was by paring a colored blouse under a basic dress. Layering it this way shows a little bit of color but it’s still appropriate for the work environment. I also like adding a bag in a pop of color. This purple bag compliments the blue in my blouse, but doesn’t look like it’s too much.
