I really love the color blue. It’s a cool and relaxing tone and makes me feel anything but blue. I’ve collected quite a bit over the years, from blue jeans to blue dresses, so when I wanted to create a monochromatic look it was actually pretty easy. I love the statement a monochromatic palette creates but I wanted to subtly break it up with a patterned shirt and belt. It was so fun that now I’m tempted to create monochromatic looks in other colors!

Matthew and I are already having a blast in New York City. We flew in yesterday afternoon, went to Shake Shack {omg shroom burger was incredible, as was the black and white milkshake!}, and then met my uncles and cousin for a Portuguese dinner. Today I’ll be at IFB Con. Can’t wait to see some blogger friends and hear the interesting panels!
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone! If you have any NYC recommendations feel free to leave them below! Hoping Matthew and I can grab some yummy lunches and dinners in between all the craziness!
