Matthew and I had such a great time in Sanibel, Florida. We went for a friend’s wedding {Matthew was a cute groomsman!} but we were also able to enjoy a little vacation. Sanibel is a small island near Ft Meyers, off the Gulf of Mexico. We were only there for three days so it was a very short trip but we had a lot of fun exploring. The only thing I knew about Sanibel before we got there was that the island is known for their numerous species of shells so “shelling” is the most popular activity, besides sleeping in and sunbathing of course! On Saturday morning we tried shelling an hour before low tide, as the experts recommend, and we found so many pretty ones to bring home with us for friends and family. Getting them safely back home was my ultimate mission and I luckily succeeded!
