I’ve noticed that my wardrobe tends to skew very print-heavy. Sometimes I feel like an outfit isn’t really complete without some pattern or print. The truth is, wearing prints is something I’ve only recently gotten more comfortable with. I love the architectural elements of this outfit- the layered peplum and the draped skirt. The pieces are so pretty on their own that they don’t need to compete with a print. It’s nice to be able to find the balance of when to add a print, and when to let solids stand on their own.

I’m loving this layered peplum top from Spiegel. The shoulders are so cute with the little slits and I love the tiny bows on the sleeves. Spiegel has such pretty and couture-like clothes, but at such great prices. While everything on their site is really affordable, they’re also giving 10% off you next order with code Spiegel13 so take advantage!
