This dress + headband combo reminds me of the Gatsby days in the 1920s. The dress is in a classic shift style but modernized with its asymmetrical hem and color-blocked fabrics. I purposely planned the shoes and dress combo as soon as I realized the pinks matched almost perfectly. I finished the outfit with a pretty jeweled headband {every girl needs some sparkle!} and an orange bag in my favorite tote style. Brahmin makes one of my favorite bags ever. I’ve worn it countless times so I’m happy to be giving it a little rest by bringing out it’s new cousin in persimmon orange. Isn’t it pretty? I love that it adds a little bit of warmth to my outfits and it will be so cute for fall!

How was your weekend? Mine might have been a little too much fun, on account of Saturday night. My best friends bought me tickets to the Hollywood Bowl for a Grease Sing-a-long!! It was probably one of the most fun things I’ve done in LA, not just because Grease one of my favorite musicals {and I already know all the lyrics}, but also because we got to picnic before and during the movie. Hanna brought pasta salad, Lizzie brought cheese, crackers and fresh fruit, and I brought dessert! Oh and we dressed up! {Check Instagram for my Bad Sandy impersonation!} Now I’m dying to see what other kinds of sing-a-longs are being planned this summer! Have any of you been to a sing-a-long before? What did you think?
