For the past couple of years Cambria has been my family’s little getaway spot during the summer. It’s about a 4 hour drive from LA, and not too bad when you break it up with lunch in Santa Barbara. Life has been extremely busy recently (I guess as it always is), so a weekend away with limited internet access sounded absolutely perfect. The weather is Cambria is pretty cool year round. I think the high was mid 60’s while we were there. Not expected for the California Coast, right? Some of my favorite things to do in Cambria are go to antique stores, enjoy leisurely coffee dates at Lily’s followed by pie at Lynn’s, catch up on my reading and sleep, and make little trips to Cayucos and Paso! While our trip was short it was exactly what I needed! I’m just jealous that my parents got to stay for a whole week! They rented this absolutely gorgeous house that I could totally spend a whole month in!
