Woo hoo! The new hair debuts! I know you kind of saw it yesterday but still. Different photos, right? 🙂 My hair naturally lightens up soo much in the summer and when I went in for a healthy trim I decided to do a little color as well. Sometimes when there’s a new season, it’s fun to switch things up a bit. The color was actually only done on the top of my head and the rest is my natural color. It’s crazy how well it blends in. Keeping a bit of my natural color gives it a little more depth I think. It’s kind of an interesting technique that I’d definitely recommend!

Even though it’s not officially fall, I’m so ready for it! Don’t tell my surfing husband though. He’s loathing the day when the sun sets earlier and the water gets too cold to bear. Me? I’m ready for a change, but I’ll definitely soak in the last bits of sunshine! This outfit is such an easy transitional look. An interesting print with a denim jacket and a pair of fall boots. You can take the jacket off during the day if it’s too hot, or throw it on if it gets a bit chilly. Either way, you’re set with a cute and weather-appropriate look!
Matthew and I are in New York City this week for Fashion Week. Actually I’m here for Fashion Week, and he’s conveniently here for work! It’s still so surreal to be here. February was the first time I went to Fashion Week and I had the best time. I met so many amazing people and got to see some incredible shows for fall. To be back is so awesome and I’m incredibly grateful, especially since the weather is quite a bit better than it was in February! {a recap of pre and post-Nemo in February!} If you have any NYC recommendations for me I’d love to hear!! You know I’m trying to fit in as much good food as possible!!
