Technically it’s not white white, but still a pretty pale shade. I wore this outfit one of the first days I was in New York, before NYFW started. I decided to walk the 15 blocks it would take to attend to some showroom appointments. {I know, I know! What was I thinking?!} To defend myself, 15 blocks really wasn’t that bad. I used to walk that and more when I was in college, but, sadly, that was years ago! I had to take the subway back but I loved walking the streets on NYC in this pretty dress and casual booties. I felt like I could pretend to be a New Yorker for a little bit!

I have to give a little shout out to these amazing booties from DV by Dolce Vita. I got them after I saw someone at the MAGIC tradeshow wearing them, ordering as soon as I got home. I loved the slingback style and thought it would be a perfect transitional season. It’s been so easy to add them to my more casual outfits, and also dress down a nicer dress. You know it’s a good shoe when you start to want them in all available colors! Nude Suede, I have my eyes on you!
