I really love drop waist dresses. They always remind me of the 20s and I love that they elongate your legs {or at least I think they do!}. It might be because of Gatsby coming out this year, or maybe it’s just the cyclical nature of fashion, but there have been so many more casual drop waist dresses that I’ve been finding. I wore them all summer, and to transition them into the cooler season I think they look great with tights and a pair of booties. I love this Lovers & Friends dress with it’s vintage-inspired cut and print. The color really stood out to me, so I couldn’t resist pairing it with my favorite burgundy ones! The one thing this outfit was missing was a cool fur vest like this one {or this one}. As soon as I put this outfit on, I knew it needed something extra! Don’t you hate when that happens?

I’m so excited it’s Friday! Since Matthew and I were gone in San Francisco last weekend it will be nice to get some things done around the apartment. It’s so embarrassing how messy it is! It’s also the last weekend before Thanksgiving and I know it’s just going to get crazier and crazier after that. We’ll have to sneak in some fun while we can!
