Sometimes it’s fun to step out of my comfort zone juuust a little bit! Beanies {and hats in general} aren’t usually my thing, but I’m kind of loving this one. It’s sadly been sitting in a bin in my closet for YEARS because I got it in San Francisco when Matthew and I were first dating. I remember thinking, “Red is my favorite color, so maybe this could be my gateway beanie to other hats.” Well 5 years later perhaps it will! I loved pairing the toughness of the beanie with the lightness of the tulle skirt. The polished bag and pointy heels make the outfit a little more polished, too. Not too grungy for having a beanie involved, don’t you think?

Another week closer to Christmas! I’m excited to have some friend time this weekend with a shopping party tomorrow afternoon in Malibu and a holiday party tomorrow night. Hoping Sunday will be my relax with Matthew, watch Christmas movies, drink hot cocoa day! Any fun things you’re up to?
