I think I’ll always be a fan of the dress and legging combo. They’re so comfortable I could sleep in them {and maybe have a few times before..shh!}. Any clothing item that can double as pjs is OK in my book. These ones have a little shine to them so they worked for a night out in an LBD. I love this pretty drop waist lace dress but since it wasn’t a super fancy date night I thought a comfy cardigan sweater would tone it down a bit.

This was a perfect first weekend of 2014! Saturday I was super productive {cleaned the apartment, wrote thank you notes, answered some emails, ran some errands, went on a run}, but also relaxing {finished Season 4 of Breaking Bad–I’m a little behind I know!}. Sunday I went to a calligraphy class which was so much fun. I learned years ago but couldn’t remember much of the technique or mechanics. It was a perfect refresher and a great creative opportunity. I think I’ve almost mastered the lowercase letters so I’m on the the uppers! Hoping I can write Matthew a special card in February 😉
