I’ve had this gorgeous lace maxi skirt for a month or so now, waiting for the perfect time to wear it. I started to worry, though, that I would have these high expectations for this amazing event to wear it to, and then it wouldn’t happen. I couldn’t resist “breaking it in,” so I styled it more casually for a dinner date with a basic tee and a leather jacket. It’s one of those pieces that I want to wear as often as possible, so why not? It will be perfect for fancier event and the fact that I can wear it more casually, as well, is a win win! Also, I did purposely wear black with navy. I was already on a roll with doing the unexpected so I just did it!
