My denim jackets are out and ready for action! This floral shirtdress has the prettiest, neutral print so I like it paired with this lighter jacket. The mint colored purse is also on the lighter side but I felt like it provided a bit more depth. I wanted a bag that would stand out, but not completely overpower the look. It didn’t hurt that my nails were the exact same color as the purse. Not planned, promise!

I got my hair lightened a bit this weekend. Can you tell? I wanted something a little more fresh for spring. Also, my hairdresser is going out of town for a whole month and the thought of waiting until the beginning of May seemed like too long. {Kinda scary how close it actually is though!} Matthew and I also worked on some house projects {him mainly}. He has been so awesome with everything, especially considering that his shoulders are in a bunch of pain. He de-rusted, primed and painted our outdoor gate since it was pretty rusty and ugly looking. Kind of an eye sore from the street. Now, it’s almost as good as new! There are a bunch of things on our list and I know we just need to keep working on them, one by one. We’ll get there I’m sure. Buying a house definitely comes with some pride of ownership. We want to do so much to make it perfect and our own!
