Have I told you about my relationship with the color purple? Forgive me if I have! When I was younger it was my absolute favorite color. Around the same time that my favorite animal was a unicorn. I even had a club called The Purple Unicorn Club.. I swear! Well, I’m not sure why but a few years later purple became my least favorite color. Maybe because it was my mom’s least favorite color too, and whatever my mom didn’t like I didn’t like. I still have a hard time with deeper purples, but I’m slowly trying to get over it, like in this outfit from fall. I have to admit it’s a little easier to love purple in the springtime. The lilac and lavender shades are just so soft and feminine. I fell in love with this top and thought it would be perfect paired with this white skirt. It might not be Memorial Day yet, but eh whatever!

These heels are my new favorites! You might recognize that they’re similar to my blue ones. Yep, it’s when I buy things in multiple colors that I know I have an obsession. I can’t wait to wear these a bunch this spring!
