designer dress up

The other week I had the fun opportunity to visit the Shop Hers showroom in Santa Monica and play dress up. Shop Hers is the only luxury marketplace dedicated exclusively to pre-owned designer fashion.  While I love designer brands I only have a small handful of pieces that I own. I usually can never justify spending the money even though I can appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of the pieces. I do however love hunting down a good deal. One of my favorite dresses is this 3.1 Phillip Lim dress that I wore to our wedding reception. It’s absolutely stunning and a piece that I’d never sell. The best part about it was the cost-$35 from a consignment shop in San Francisco. One of my favorites parts about Shop Hers is that you can create a style profile with all your sizing information, and the site matches you with other “Style Soulmates” who share the same size to make it easy to find clothes you like that fit. It totally beats looking through racks and racks of clothes to not find your size or the styles you like. When I went to Shop Hers there were so many pretty pieces it was hard to not gush over everything. Remember these Miu Miu booties? Yep, I almost died!  It was so fun to style this pretty outfit for a fun afternoon in LA!
