Chambray and embroidery..two must-haves for spring! This lovely dress from Anthropologie has the perfect combination of the two and I love the unique hemline that makes my legs looks just a liiiiitle bit longer. Any bit helps! I wore this look for an afternoon by the beach, hence the sun hat and woven tote. The weather this week has me ready for a beach day, that’s for sure. I keep talking about it, hoping it’s going to happen. I feel like I am all talk, no beach these days!

I had a fun day shooting in San Diego yesterday. We were at the most beautiful lavender farm that I wish I could live right by. The smell in the air at sunset was incredible. I stayed as hydrated and sunscreend as possible, though, because during the day it was in the 90s. Can you believe it’s that hot and it’s only May?! I didn’t get home until after 10pm last night so I’m kind of dreading today. I think I’m going to need some extra energy to get through it. Wish me luck!
