Last week I talked about how sneakers are a back to class essential. Boots are another given during the fall. Ankle boots go with everything and while I have several cute heeled versions, I wanted a pair of a flat lace-up booties. These ones from Steve Madden are usually over $100 but at DSW they’re $69 and they come in some darn cute colors. I felt like this cognac brown would be the most versatile, knowing how I usually dress this time of year. For my second Back to Class post with DSW, I paired the boots with this pretty striped dress and an oatmeal boyfriend cardigan. I also threw on these coffee-colored tights since we were having a chilly morning with sprinkles {what’s going on August?!}. When it gets a colder I think the dress would look great with some over-the-knee boots too, don’t you think?
