For the past couple of years I’ve had an obsession with Vince sweaters from afar. I remember first seeing them online and being struck by the effortless cuts, and of course the higher price tag. Then I’d see it on people and realize how wearable they are. Then I saw them in stores and actually touched them. Oh.my.gosh. Vince sweaters are like petting a cloud, or a really really soft puppy. I’ve never owned one of their sweaters but I think this fall is the season. It’s an investment piece, yes, and I know I could wear it for years to come. I love this neutral color and think it would look amazing in a pair of jeans, whether it’s a classic blue or even a gray. Oh, or black jeans! That would be cute too. The oversized fit means it’s extra comfy but I love how the tighter sleeves make it flattering and feminine. This aint your boyfriend’s sweater!
Current/Elliott jeans are always a good choice and I love this cropped skinny jean with the slight distressing. It’s a great transitional jean and I think it would be super cute with heels {like this pink pair}, or some printed flats. I’ve never really thought of myself as a black boot girl but last fall I fell in love with these slingback ankle boots {still available!} and wore them everywhere. I think these ones from Sam Edelman would be a great update for this year, and they’d look great with the jeans too. The fact that they’re closed back means I can wear them into winter too!
Some of you might remember that a few years ago I had some eye problems. I had to stop wearing my contacts {which I wear every day} and rely on my glasses a little bit more. During the week you’ll usually find my in some specs, especially since I spend so much time behind a computer screen. I love my trusty brown tortoise pair but I’ve been thinking it would be nice to switch things up. Obviously I’m not going too crazy with this other tortoise colorway but I kinda love it. This pair from Warby Parker stands out while still being a good neutral.
I included this Bobbi Brown makeup brush on here too because my cheapo brushes are totally falling apart. I think it’s about time I invested in some big girl brushes and my friend swears by these ones! Do you have any makeup brushes you’d recommend?

Have a great weekend everyone!! Any fun plans? Today was my Monday and my Friday which was kind of cool. Just enough time to get caught up on some work and crave the weekend. Tomorrow we have some house projects going on and Sunday we’re having a family day in Long Beach. I can’t wait!
