When I worked at Ruche as the Head Buyer we made a huge deal over dresses. The team loved them so much that we made a huge deal out of Frocktober. As if October wasn’t amazing enough, we’d buy lots of dresses and some years we’d launch a new dress every single day during the month! Even though I’m not working for Ruche anymore, I had to celebrate with them so I styled this gorgeous burgundy dress with a feminine plaid cape and some black booties. I wanted to play up the romantic angle of the dress so I added this pretty headpiece in some of the photos. This would be such a lovely look for a holiday party, don’t you think?

Even though Frocktober, cough, I mean October, is coming to an end, I’m excited to wear tons of dresses over the next few months. The holidays provide the perfect opportunity for a little dress twirling..yay! I’m super excited!
