Valorie and I found this hot pink wall the other month and knew we had to shoot with it! When thinking about what to wear against such a bold wall, I had to fall back on a classic..black and white! Black and white is always a safe color combo, whether you stick to those two colors alone or even if you add an accent color. I started with this printed dress from Torn by Ronny Kobo, added these over-the-knee boots, a biker jacket with a cozy shearling lining, and allowed this fun pink wall to be my accent color! That’s the great thing about a black and white outfit, you can match all of your surroundings!
dress Torn by Ronny Kobo, jacket By Chance, shoes Seychelles {also here}, clutch Banana Republic {similar to rent and to buy}, sunglasses Ray-Ban, necklace Gorjana 1 and 2, lipstick Dolce & Gabbana Mandorla, nail polish Essie Bump in the Pumps
This dress has an interesting raised-knit texture that makes it really unique, and especially stunning in person! Even though I wore the dress with flat boots, I think it would be great with some pretty heels, especially for a casual holiday party!
I’m heading back from NYC tonight and I’m sad this short trip has to come to an end. I wish Matthew could have come with me and we could have had a fun weekend in the city! It seems like so long ago since we went on this trip! I think we need another adventure like that, with no work allowed!
Happy Friday everyone!! Check back later for The Friday Five!
