I’m so excited to share today’s post with you guys! My friend Jade Gedeon has the most gorgeous jewelry collection and she launched a book this year called Beautiful Bracelets by Hand. Her designs are so stunning and unique and they’re sold all over the world. If you’re crafty and like to do DIYs you will love this book! There are so many great bracelets to choose from. You can make the most unique pieces with beads, chains, fabric and cords, leather, metal, wood, even plastic! One of the ones I love most though is the Assemblage Bracelet that uses bits and pieces of items you might already have. This book would be such a great holiday present, for you or your girlfriends. My friends and I are thinking about making some a few different bracelets at our next girl’s night. Wine + jewelry making sounds like the perfect night in! Jade is so sweet and is giving 20% with code MLOVES. Here’s a peak at the DIY I love most:
ASSEMBLAGE BRACELET
Jade says, “Take a vintage (or new, no judgment here), sparkler, add a dash of ribbon, a splash of ornament and mix together for a one-of-a-kind wonder that’s all your own! Wider bracelets with rows of rhinestones or rihinestone and chain links work best as a base (versus a single strand) onto which to weave your fixin’s.”
BITS YOU’LL NEED
rhinestone bracelet
ribbon (choose a width that is visually balance with your bracelet- shown here is a 3/4inch ribbon for a bracelet that was just under 1/2 inch wide)
selection of buttons, small pins rhinestone connectors or charms
wire, 24-26 gauge
fray check
TOOLS
chain-nose pliers
flat-nose pliers
wire snips
scissors
Isn’t this bracelet so pretty! I love it! Make sure to check out Jade’s site and if you’re not that crafty, she also have some jewelry you can buy!
