When I don’t know what to wear I always reach for this pair of distressed jeans and some sort of striped top. It’s a basic combo that oftentimes becomes a weekly go-to. Stripes are just too hard to resist..don’t you agree? To make it a little more interesting, though, I added this beautiful mint coat and some black suede heels. Finish it off with a clutch and all of a sudden this basic combo doesn’t seem so basic anymore!

Matthew and I are in San Francisco for the weekend and I’m so excited! We haven’t been here since last year and it’s always a nice and easy trip. {The flight is only an hour!}. San Francisco got a crazy storm yesterday, though, so our flight was a tad delayed but well worth it. We were walking to dinner last night and the streets were relatively empty, candles burning in the apartments without power, and rain was pouring down. We were stomping around in puddles, laughing, and bringing up all our fun SF memories. For those that don’t know, Matthew and I met in this city, dated here, and then came back to get engaged here. My love for the Bay is forever! It will always have such a romantic nature to me, even in a crazy storm!
