The holidays can be a busy time and it can be so easy to lose track of what really matters, family and friends. There have been too many cases recently, like when I was at the grocery store the night before Thanksgiving, where I was frustrated and annoyed. The packed parking lot, the limited produce options, the endless lines. I kept checking my watch thinking of all the places I needed to be. I could be home with Matthew, making dinner, talking to my Mom, throwing the ball with Ginger. Maybe you’ve gone through this as well? That frustration can drive a lot of negativity and I hate when it gets the best of me. I was excited to partner with Kenneth Cole to share their #TimeForGood initiative. The idea is to make time for good in your own lives, in whichever way you like. For me, that starts with being present in the moment. When I look at my watch to check the time I want to be reminded of its possibilities, not the limitations. I want to be optimistic, and happy, and enjoy where I’m at when I’m there. This season goes by all too quickly and I want to savor every moment of it!

I styled one of Kenneth Cole’s watches from their Transparent Collection with this blue tweed dress and a white coat. I love tweed in general and the fact that the material is only on the front of the dress makes it more versatile and party friendly! It could definitely be a day to night dress option! This watch is so pretty and unique with its translucent face that it’s also a great piece to wear casually or more dressed up. I always think watches are a great holiday gift and they have some great options for a special lady or man on your list. You can check out the collection here!
I hope you all enjoy this wonderful holiday season and make Time for Good in your own way!
