The last few weeks in LA have been chilly enough for coats! While solid color coats are versatile, I also like to choose ones that stand out, especially since it’s often too cold to take your coat off! This striped coat from Tulle is amazing {and it’s on sale!} and totally gives this outfit a little more visual interest. I kept the rest of the look simple by pairing the coat with stretchy black jeans and some suede pumps.

Since it is LA, I was able to take my coat off and not freeze my butt off {although my arms did get goose bumps!}. This purple peplum top from Buckley K is such a pretty piece and very well made. You can also get it on sale too!
