There’s something about a little black dress, especially a little black wrap dress! It’s such a classic style, made iconic by the incredible Diane von Furstenberg. Last February I went to her Journey of a Dress exhibit at LACMA and it was incredible. I was obsessed with all the gorgeous dresses on display, as well as images of Diane throughout the years. A year later and I’m still thinking about the exhibit and the dresses. It seemed like it was about time to invest in one of her classic wrap dress styles. I fell in love with this gorgeous lace one, and this gingham style for spring, but I felt like I would wear this black one for years and years to come. It’s a dress that can be worn day or night, dressed up or dressed down. You can’t go wrong with black, right? Matthew gave me so many compliments on it and I love how it makes me feel like such a lady! I’m excited to wear it again with booties and a jacket!
