For me, lipstick is an everyday essential. Rarely do I go a day without putting on one color, or sometimes two! Even those days where I’m rushing out the door and don’t have time for mascara or foundation, lipstick usually makes up for it. It’s the final piece to most of my outfits and it really makes a difference. I have a ridiculous collection of lipsticks and while I try to credit them in my outfit photos, I thought I’d start sharing some of my LIPSTICK PICKS. These three today range from a subtle pink, to a sexy neutral, to a bold red. I’d love to know what you think!
This Tory Burch Just Like Heaven lipstick is a great everyday color. It’s subtle and has a sheer quality that I really like. If you’re looking for a good gateway lipstick, this is your best bet! This MAC Velvet Teddy was an Instagram find for me. I noticed it immediately and had to jot down the color name. I don’t wear a lot of nude lipsticks since I feel like they can wash me out, but this one has a darker tint to it that makes it more of a brown/nude. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it at first, but I wear it quite often when I’m wanting something a little more subtle but still with a dramatic edge. see MAC Velvet Teddy in an outfit post!
All hail the red! Red lipstick is a girl’s best friend..at least it’s mine! I am in love with all of the Dolce & Gabbana lipsticks. 1. They come in pretty gold tubes, 2. They have a rose-like scent that holds some 60’s nostalgia. It reminds me of playing in my Grandma’s makeup drawers. and 3. The colors are all soo good!! This Dolce & Gabbana Scarlett has been a super pretty red. It has blue undertones, a silky finish, and lasts all day! That’s always a good thing! see Dolce & Gabbana Scarlett in an outfit post!
