If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you know how I feel about stripes and florals. Separately, I love them, and together, I am obsessed. I’ve worn many an outfit with stripes and florals {exhibit A, B, and C}. Yep, obsessed is definitely the right word. When I wore this STRIPED MIDI SKIRT here, I knew I had to wear it again, but with a print. I chose this FLORAL BLOUSE since it had a blue thing in common with the skirt and paired it with my new NUDE SANDALS. I thought a colored shoe might be a little too crazy and nude always works.
top Nordstrom, skirt J.Crew, shoes Dolce Vita {I also wore them here}, bag Lauren Merkin, ring Capwell, sunglasses Karen Walker
I’m feeling a little sad you guys. I finished Gilmore Girls on Friday which left me in a slightly depressed state. If you remember, I started watching it when I was sick the last week of January. That means I watched 7, 22-episode seasons in less than 7 weeks. I don’t know if my binge watching abilities is something to be embarrassed about or proud of! Either way, I’ll take an invisible bow right now, catch the flowers, and dramatically sob into my handkerchief. I miss that show already, even more than I did the first time I watched it. I think in another 5 years {yikes!}, I’ll have to re-watch it all over again. P.S. This is basically a Public Service Announcement for all of you to watch Gilmore Girls, especially if you’ve never seen it. It’s on Netflix steaming, so get to watching k?
Happy Monday everyone!!
